If the parties use an Incoterms rule, record the rule, named place or port and agreed version in the order documents. Incoterms rules allocate delivery responsibilities, costs and risk at defined points; they do not determine product specifications, payment timing, title to goods or every regulatory obligation. Payment method, deposit or balance trigger and any credit period must be stated in the accepted commercial record. How should a medical supplies order process be released?
- The commercial document identifies the exact product, quantity, currency and price.
